Welcome Newcomers
St. Barnabas is an open, welcoming church; our patron saint, Barnabas, was known as “the Encourager”. We are committed to encouraging each other in our life and faith journeys and serving the broader community. All are welcomed to our church – a loving and diverse community of worshippers. Our parishioners hail from many different countries, and we accept all peoples regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, sex or gender identity. Members of our congregation come from a variety of faith traditions and cherish the loving and accepting community at St. Barnabas. Together we learn how to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves.
We have two Sunday worship services; 8:30 am (contemplative) and 10:30 am (with music). Sunday School classes for children from 5-12 years old meet at 10:30 am-11:15 when they join their parents for Eucharist in the church. During the months of July and August, we have one Sunday worship service at 9:30 am with no Sunday School. Midweek Bible Study sessions are led by our Priest. In addition, there is a lay-led Bible Study class on designated Sundays.
There are a variety of fellowship opportunities to bring our congregation and the community together. One of our favorites involve sharing food from the many countries represented in our congregation.
We encourage you to sign up for our weekly newsletter, St. B’s News, to learn about up-coming events such as our International Food Festival. We love to see new faces at our events and welcome the whole community to come join us!
